Stikz Monthly Match Format
- 6-hole Matchplay
- See “Point System” for breakdown
- All scores are Net (USGA GHIN)
- You may play any CONSECUTIVE 6 holes WHEREVER and WHENEVER you can, BUT pay attention to which holes you or your opponent are “stroking” on.
- Ex. Player A is a (2) and Player B is an (8). Player A will stroke on the 2 lowest handicap holes and Player B will ‘stroke’ on the 8 lowest handicap holes on the scorecard, NO MATTER WHERE THEY FALL.
- MAX 6 matches / month
1v1 (Singles Matchplay)
- Players win a hole by having a lower net score than their opponent on that hole
- Player with the most at the end of the 6 hole match wins
- Winning / Tying holes and/or making Par, Birdie, Eagle, Albatross, or Hole in 1 EARN YOU POINTS
Stikz Point System
- Players earn points by Winning / Tying holes, making Par, Birdie, Eagle, Albatross and Winning / Tying Matches
- All points that a player earns throughout his/her match are added to that player’s Individual Point Total (IPT)
Points Breakdown:
- Hole in 1 = 10 points
- Albatross = 6 points
- Eagle = 4 points
- Birdie = 3 points
- Par = 2 points
- Bogey = 0 points
- Double Bogey / Worse - (-1 points)
- Lose Hole = 0 points
- Tie Hole = 1 point
- Win Hole = 2 points
- Win Match = 8 points (added to match points, IPT, and MPT)
- Tie Match = 4 points (added to match points, IPT, and MPT)
- Lose Match = 2 points (added to match points, IPT, and MPT)
Match Example:
- Player A scores a net par on hole 1, Player B scores a net birdie. Player A receives 2 points for par.
- Player B receives 3 points for birdie and 2 points for winning the hole. The match is 5-2 in favor of Player B.
- At the end of 6 holes, Player A has 25 points and Player B has 28 points. Player B WINS
- Player A’s 25 match points are added to the 2 points for the Loss and 27 points are added to Player A’s IPT and MPT.
- Player B's 28 match points are added to the 8 points for the Win and the 36 points are added to Player B's IPT and MPT.
